Customer data platform

Closed beta

A dev-facing customer data platform with code-defined journeys.

Track what your users do, group them into segments that update on every write, and email them from your own code. Journeys and React Email templates are TypeScript in your own repo, tested on a virtual clock before anyone gets mail.

What it does

Your lifecycle marketing, in a pull request.

Events and profiles

identify, track and batch through @cowliss/sdk. Identity resolution links identifiers as it learns and merges duplicate profiles on its own. Profiles belong to one app, so the same person on two of your products is two profiles.

A tracking plan with teeth

A catalog of every event and trait you send. Permissive mode accepts unknown names and flags them; strict mode holds them in a review queue until you decide.

Segments that keep up

Membership is recomputed on every write, and again when a time window in the rule lapses. Only segments defined in your repo start journeys.

Journeys in TypeScript

defineJourney with sleep, waitForEvent, email and webhook sends, profile reads and restart. Durable per user, versioned in your repo, shipped with cow push.

Tested before anyone gets mail

cow test runs your scenarios on a virtual clock in seconds. A dry run checks a journey against real profiles with sends turned off.

Email as code

React Email templates with zod-typed props, versioned next to the journeys that send them. Transactional and marketing, from your own verified domains.

Gates on every send

Every send checks suppression, your credit and the sending pause. Mail a person can leave also checks consent and a frequency cap, and marketing purposes stay off until they say yes.

Already on Resend?

Point the Resend SDK at the Cowliss endpoint with that app's base URL and your Cowliss key. Your sending code stays as it is.

Signed webhooks

Journeys POST payloads signed to the Standard Webhooks spec, to URLs you register once and reference by name.

Clerk, no code

Connect a Clerk source and sign-ups, logins and deletions land in your profiles with zero integration code.

Built for agents

Anything the dashboard does, an agent can do through the cow CLI, the cow mcp server or the REST API. The docs ship as llms.txt and an OpenAPI document.

Data rights built in

GDPR export and erasure per profile or per identifier, and one event-retention setting for the whole org.

Not starting from zero? Three blueprints copy a whole program into your repo with one command: ecommerce, mobile-game and saas-trial.

Pricing

Two plans. Every feature on both.

A plan sets how much usage is included each month and how many apps and sending domains you can hold. Journeys, segments and custom sending domains are on Free too.

Free
$0
  • $0.50 of usage included each month
  • 1 live app
  • 1 sending domain
Plus
$9.99/mo
  • $15 of usage included each month
  • 15 live apps
  • 10 sending domains
Events, webhooks and journey runs
$2 per 10,000
Emails
$4 per 10,000

Past the included usage, spend draws a prepaid wallet: top up $10, $50 or $200, and unspent credit never expires. At zero, sending and ingestion stop. There is no overage invoice, ever, because nothing runs past zero.
